30-year active-duty United States Army career creating, leading, and improving various organizations and retired in 2014 as a full Colonel. 

  • Led Army recruiting for Jacksonville
  • Worked in the Pentagon on the Army staff helping establish policy 
  • Helped plan the first U.S. operation in Bosnia/deployed to enforce the Dayton Peace Accord
  • Served as the city mayor and city manager for 17 Army bases in Germany, managed a $333 million budget for operations, services, and contracts over a 4,000 square mile area
  • Served as the Inspector General for U.S. forces throughout Europe and Israel, worked directly for the four-flag NATO/U.S. European Command Commander
  • Served as the Inspector General for the Florida National Guard throughout Florida
